I'm a big reader.
At any given time I am reading 3-5 different things. I typically like to have one fiction (mainly science fiction lately) physical copy in hand. Secondly some kind of reference or history tome to slowly work through. I'll usually have a third technical book I'm working through with a zine or two that I pick up and put down.
Currently reading Stranger in a strange land, and guess what? It's strange, but in a good way. Can barely put it down.
I'm about to finish Linux magazine 305, at which point I'll move onto the next issue.
I've got the latest issue of 2600 in queue and I'm reading Strategy by Lawrence Freedman.
For my current technical volume I am reading Automate the boring stuff with Python.
Lots of upcoming reads, its like I can't read fast enough.
There's something about a physical book or magazine that really hits for me. It almost beckons me to pick it up and page through it.
I have read tons of stuff on computers/tablets etc, but they really just don't hit the same.
I went through a period of reading comics on my iPad but I just can't wrap my head around paying for a digital copy of something when I can get a physical copy I will always have.
I've got an unlimited amount of digital media I've collected over the years, lots of genealogical history volumes, which I do plan on reading, but can't get around to it. If I am on my computer, I am reading a website, playing around in terminal or playing a game.
